Spring Break Mission Trip  |   April 3-9, 2022

We try to take an out of state mission trip every other year, but because of COVID, we've been unable the past two years. This year, we're able to go and we're heading to Kentucky to provide relief to students and faculty of Riverside Christian School who were hit recently with record-setting flooding in their valley.

High school students ages 14-18 are able to go. Cost is $75 per student which covers travel expenses all week as well as food there and back.

This will be a trip which will give students the ability to learn different things about home repair and building. Adults who come along with construction or handyman knowledge will be very helpful but may also find themselves teaching our students how to do the work as well. We also need individuals to volunteer to help cook for the week we are there!

Registrations are due by March 24th.

Special parent/participant info meeting Sunday, March 20 @ 12:00pm in the Youth Lounge.

Weekly Meetups

Wednesday 6pm-7:30pm

While our new youth facilities are being built, we are currently meeting in the church Sanctuary on Wednesday nights. We begin with free time, then some group games (usually with a twist), followed by worship, Bible study, and prayer.  Wednesday nights are a great time to check us out for the first time if you get nervous around new groups.

Sunday 9am-10am

Sunday mornings are usually focused more on Bible Study. We take a look at how the things that go on in our life relate to the truths we read about in the Bible and then discuss ways to apply those truths in practical ways. On occasion, we will take random road trips to do a mission project or just hang out and have coffee somewhere during this time as well. It allows us to have focused time to encourage and get to know each other.

John 1:45-46

Philip found Nathanael and told him, “We have found the one Moses wrote about in the Law, and about whom the prophets also wrote—Jesus of Nazareth, the son of Joseph.”

“Nazareth! Can anything good come from there?” Nathanael asked.

“Come and see,” said Philip.

Sometimes our faith and lifestyle isn't enough to convince our friends to join the journey in following Jesus. Sometimes they just need to come and see for themselves what it looks like. For Nathanael, he couldn't just take his friend's word, he needed to see for himself.
At JCC Youth, God has been moving in the lives of our students. It's hard to describe the transformation taking place. You've just gotta "come and see" what Jesus is up to for yourself!

Come and see what JCC Youth is like for yourself.

Fall Youth Retreat

We kick off every youth season with a weekend retreat. It's packed with games, activities, great food, small group study, large group study and worship sessions, as well as some fun surprises!

Fall Retreat 2021 was at Camp Friedenswald in Union, MI the weekend of September 24-26, 2021. It featured a weekend of Youth Olympics, small groups, campfires, large group worship and study times, great food and some ping pong! Oh, and there was Bible Smugglers and a few more surprises!

Real. Relevant. Relational.

JCC Youth is for students turning 13-18 by 8-1-2021. Much like our Jr. Youth group, both groups are an excellent environment to team up with kids your age, have a little fun and excitement, get a little real with each other in doses, and learn about Jesus through studying the Bible in  relevant, practical, and meaningful ways.
