JCC Youth Mission Trip

Riverside Christian School is a private Christian school for students in Hazard County, Kentucky. Originally started as a church plant and a school when there was no public school in the area, RCS remains an integral ministry partner to the surrounding community. Recent floods have damaged the school buildings and the facilities. Help is needed to repair water-damaged flooring, fencing, and more. It's time to be the hands and feet of Jesus. It's time to be the CHURCH and serve those who have been praying for relief. It's time to go.

Spring Break Mission Trip 2022

April 3-9, 2022

Jesus told us that the world would know we're his disciples if we do what he did and share his love with others. Being the hands and feet of Jesus sometimes means going places and doing things we don't often do at home. In this case, we're going to provide construction relief to the folks connected with Riverside Christian School in Lost Creek, KY. We're going to not only help repair facilities after recent flooding, but hopefully be an encouragement to the staff as well. 
We plan to leave Sunday morning early (Time TBD). We will stop and see the Ark Encounter on our way down and on the return trip, stop by Mammoth Cave and explore the great underworld on our way back--just for some added fun.

Parent information meeting Sunday March 20 @ 12:00pm

Cost is $75 per person and covers travel expenses down and back as well as food and entry fees. All lodging and meals while we're volunteering is included.
